Friends Widow/Orphan program

This project was started in 2020, keeping in mind the problem of widows and orphans in very poor communities, where no one takes responsibility to serve or give shelter to them.

Objectives

 1.  Giving monthly stipend to widow to assist her monthly expenditure.

2. Helping orphan girls by assisting and bearing the expenses during their wedding (expenditure of all jahaiz and meal for guests on the day of the wedding).

3. Helping orphan children by giving them scholarships for their education. Including medical and engineering students. FWT is providing a stipend for them, including their fees and monthly pocket money.

4. FWT is offering 2-year diploma courses in the medical field at Friends Paramedical College, so that students can get a diploma from Punjab Medical Faculty and be able to get jobs in different hospitals to earn for their families.
