FRIEND'S HOSPITAL RAWALPINDI
Friends Hospital is the idea and vision of founder Dr. Iftikhar Ahmed Khan Niazi, who has dedicated all his time and efforts to accomplishing his vision. This vision has been fully endorsed by all remaining trustees. This hospital is constructed at IJP Road, Rawalpindi with a covered area of more than 20,000 sq. feet.
Friends Hospital was established in 2012 by FWT with the aim of providing quality health services and medical facilities at subsidized charges to the poor and needy community. The hospital features a state-of-the-art dialysis center equipped with 15 of the latest dialysis units, offering both indoor and outdoor medical services. Our core purpose remains the provision of medical care to the less privileged in society, in which operation theater, labor room, and indoor facilities will be provided. This hospital is giving very low-cost but high-quality treatment and diagnostic facilities to poor and needy patients.

FRIEND'S HOSPITAL EXTENSION
The Stone Breaking Ceremony for the extension of Friends Hospital was jointly conducted by the Ambassador of Saudi Arabia in Islamabad, the Ambassador of Kuwait in Islamabad, and Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman. The extension block is planned to cover a total area of 100,000 square feet.
The purpose of the hospital’s extension is threefold: to accommodate the increasing number of patients, to enhance service quality, and to provide kidney transplants to poor patients who cannot afford them. To meet the community’s growing demands, a piece of land adjacent to the existing building has been acquired at a cost of Rs. 120,000,000. A modern, well-equipped health facility will soon be constructed on this site.
This new seven-story building (including two basements, a ground floor, and four upper stories) will feature a modern Renal Transplant Center, seven operating theaters, a state-of-the-art dialysis center, a trauma center, and a radiology department equipped with MRI and CT scan facilities.
- Fund Requirements: At the outset, we anticipate an expenditure of approximately Rs. 1 billion for the proposed extension project of Friends Hospital. The management will keep donors informed about the financial commitments and the progress of the expenditures periodically.

Friends Welfare Trust was founded on 1st June 2005 with the aim to contribute in improving the current condition of health & education in Pakistan, particularly in under-privileged areas and to help poor and needy.
